As a former practicing attorney turned legal recruiter, she brings a firsthand perspective and a commitment to thoughtful, authentic engagement, principles reinforced by her personal practices of yoga and mindfulness. She believes every connection should have purpose and every interaction should add value, and she is especially attuned to the importance of alignment when clients and candidates are navigating a career transition or search.

 

With nearly 20 years of experience in legal talent acquisition, business development, and diversity initiatives, Shannan is a seasoned recruiting executive and strategic advisor. As Vice President, Talent Solutions at The Partners Group/Legalpeople, she partners with clients on their interim counsel and permanent attorney hiring needs, while advising on holistic talent strategy, organizational alignment, and long-term growth.

 

Shannan has placed hundreds of attorneys with Fortune 500 companies and leading law firms, bringing deep market insight and a highly consultative approach to her work. She is passionate about helping organizations attract, develop, and retain exceptional legal talent, while guiding professionals toward fulfilling career opportunities.

 

Outside of work, Shannan is an avid traveler who has explored more than 90 countries and counting. She also enjoys yoga, Pilates, reading, wellness, pop culture, hip-hop music, and spending time with her family, friends, and feline companions!
